Quillan (English: [kwɪlən]) is one of the continents of Spectradom. It is also referred to as Yukuceka (New Karanesa: [jokutʃɛka]).

Etymology

"Quillan" is a play on the word quill, referencing an older technique for writing. Before ballpoint pens, an inkwell and a quill were used to write with ink.

In-universe, "Quillan" is a translation of Old Rokadong "Fitaerhuwi" (Modern Rokadong Fitáruvi, Modern Kairitelan Fitayuga), which, as a compound noun, was translated as "quill pen" by Linnerian scholars.
